Jetion Solar (China) Co., Ltd. (the “Company” or “Jetion Solar”), one of the world's leading professional PV manufacturer, recently announced that the company is working with Helio Power, to supply 50 MW solar modules to a large scale PV project named “Thuan Minh 2 Solar Farm” which is located in Binh Thuan province, Vietnam.
It is worth mentioning that CNBM New Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jetion Solar, will serve as EPC contractor for “Thuan Minh 2 Solar Farm”. In August 2018, CNBM New Energy has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Helio Power Vietnam to develop and construct a total of 500 MW solar power plants, the currenty 50 MW project in Binh Thuan province is the first phase of the total agreement.
The “Thuan Minh 2 Solar Farm” will utilize over 150,000 of Jetion Solar’s high-efficiency 72-cell polycrystalline modules, and it is expected to supply more than 78,000 MWh clean energy to the grid annually. It is expected that the project will be connected to the grid before the end of June 2019, which is the time point for FIT decline in Vietnam.
