On August 2, the 2021 Fortune Global 500 list was released. China National Building Materials Group was shortlisted for the 11th consecutive year with US$57.115 billion revenues, moving up 10 places to 177th compared to previous year, and continued to firmly hold the top position in the global building materials industry.
In 2020, CNBM gained a total revenue of 57.115 billion U.S. dollars, net profit increased by 35% and total profit increased by 30% year on year. The total social contribution amount, including net profit, salary, interest, taxes, reached 14.034 billion U.S. dollars.
As many as 143 companies based in Chinese mainland and Hong Kong appeared on the latest Fortune Global 500 list. China takes the leading role among countries on the list for the second consecutive year, followed by the US with 122 companies. Among these 143 Chinese companies, CNBM, as the only state-owned enterprise in the building materials industry, has always been concerned about what is of vital importance to the nation, and create the country’s great building materials.
