Jetion Solar Jiangyin HQ Rooftop PV Project Successfully Connects to Grid
On 27th November, 2025, the 2.4MW distributed rooftop photovoltaic project at Jetion Solar’s Jiangyin headquarters, which was constructed and contracted by its wholly-owned subsidiarity — CNBM New Energy Engineering Co., Ltd., has officially achieved full grid connection.
This project utilizes approximately 16,000 m² of the company’ color-steel rooftops. It is expected to generate 2.6 million kWh of electricity annually and reduce CO₂ emissions by about 2,000 tons per year. It not only enabled the company to achieve self-sufficiency in green power and cost reduction and efficiency improvement, but also set a new benchmark for industrial and commercial distributed PV development with its integrated "products + engineering + operation" model.
Self-developed modules + Self-owned EPC team, End-to-End Delivery
The project adopts Jetion’s self-developed 700W HJT high-efficiency monocrystalline modules, alongside some flexible modules and Huawei inverters. The HJT modules used feature excellent low-light performance, ultra-low degradation and leading temperature coefficient, ensuring stable and efficient power output under various lighting conditions.
As EPC contractor,, CNBM New Energy Engineering Co., Ltd. led the entire process of services from on-site assessment, scheme design, power grid connection, structural reinforcement to construction and grid commissioning. Despite some roofs being over 20 years old, the team precisely formulated a special reinforcement plan. Under the premise of ensuring structural safety, they efficiently advanced the process and completed the transition from filing to full capacity grid connection in just 35 days, fully demonstrating the company's strong capabilities in technology integration and project execution.

Activate idle rooftop resources, Power Zero-Carbon Factories
The project adopts the "self-consumption, surplus-to-grid" model, giving priority to ensuring the power supply for the production with green energy, significantly reducing the reliance on grid electricity and energy costs. Without additional land investment, a win-win situation of asset appreciation and green transformation can be achieved merely through the efficient utilization of existing rooftops.
This is not the first time that Jetion Solar has practiced green manufacturing. Previously, the company has been continuously promoting green upgrading and transformation at its Tongcheng base and the Photoelectric base. By building solar curtain walls and rooftop systems, it has gradually achieved "green electricity feeding back to production", systematically laying a solid foundation for the construction of zero-carbon factories.
